Classic fermentation is used to make these wines with a minimum of 20 days fermentation on the skins. All five of the noble grape varieties used in this blend are matured in oak barrels for no less than 12 months. Those grape varieties are: Merlot 40%, Shiraz 20%, Feteasca Neagra 20%, Cabernet Sauvignon 10% and Pinot Noir 10%.
The winemaker selects only the best barrels of wine to make Noble 5. Each of the five varieties has its own unique characteristic which gives this wine it’s complexity and nobility. This blend took over five months to complete before the winemaker was satisfied with it.
Noble 5 is an intense ruby red wine with an rare aromatic complexity and taste. Blackcurrant, cherry and cherry jam flavours go hand in hand with woody notes from oak barrel. The taste is spectacular, when you think you understand it, a new flavor appears. The mouth-feel immediately tells you it’s a slippery wine: fullness, vivacity, corpulent but soft tannins.
Serve at 18 -20 deg. with dishes based on duck, beef and lamb accompanied by fruit sauces
