This Durif has intense aromas of violets, blackberry and subtle chocolate. It has an inky dark fruit flavour of blackberry, anise and liquorice that fill the palate. The French oak and tannins add depth that gives a long finish with great flavours.
Serve at 16° – 18° with rib eye steak, roast beef, stews and mature or blue cheeses.
