This is a natural plum spirit that in Romania is known as Palinka.
Produced in Transylavania it is distilled according to traditional double distilling techniques that have been handed down the generations.
After distillation the Palinka is matured and seasoned by aging in oak wood barrels for at least six months.
It is strong yet silky with a smooth touch of almond flavour due to the plum seeds.
Best served very cold before a meal.
